Well, I think their eventual aim is to model every known German who ever fought in WW2 plus their allies. The Allies seem to be diversions more than conscious efforts to give the collector something new and interesting.

They could easily have sold the Wellbike as a kit along with a container and 'chute for around £40 and we could have had something really nice.

If they really wanted to get a jump on DiD they could have given us a Stirling (SAS founder), Bader, Lord Lovatt and his Piper, Churchill... but no. We get rehashed Paras with either a scooter or a PIAT.

It's interesting to note that around the time this was announced DML rehashed their 1/35 Paras and European theatre SAS figure sets to include Wellbikes!
I wonder which one was the afterthought... 1/35 or 1/6?
